Life in Korea
Housing, work, healthcare and language — the real picture, no empty promises.
Housing
Dorm (around ₩200,000–260,000/month), goshiwon or rental. We recommend the dorm in the first term.
Work
Work rights depend on visa type, language level and university. Working without permission can cost you your visa.
Healthcare
Insurance is mandatory: private at first, then national.
Language
A TOPIK certificate is often needed for a bachelor's. A language course is a good start.
Safety
Korea is safe. Follow the rules: visa dates, attendance, work limits.
Community
Korea has a large Uzbek student community. We arrange pickup and first-days support.
